Here is a truly fascinating piece. This is a inlay hummingbird design containing cuts of turquoise, coral, jet, abalone shell, mother of pearl, and malachite. The brilliance in this piece is the selection and style of the stones used create a photo realistic design. For instance, each stone has etchings that make them look like feathers. This pendant is handcrafted by Tamra Pinto, a Zuni artist.
